Rocky Balboa has given some great speeches through the years. This one is the best in my opinion. This one is actually a speech of motivation as opposed to some of his other speeches such as the one about change in Russia.
In 2006, the final (maybe) film in the Rocky series was released. Growing older in age Rocky wants to get back in the ring after being retired for quite some time. Noone believes in him, everyone has written him off a joke, even his own son isn’t supporting him. His response to his son, and his critics, is the video below. Get ready to be pumped up and ready to tackle the week ahead.
Are you looking for a big shadow to blame for your trouble? What is your motivation? What are you big shadows today? What little things in your day are going to bring with them rain clouds? Are you going to choose to keep moving forward or will you use those shadows as an excuse to fail?
My favorite quote from this video is: “It’s not about how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” Keep moving forward is often less of an action and more of a state of mind. You must be able to focus on what is ahead of you and not worry about how hard you’ve been hit. I find this theme in many inspirational quotes. There is a country song that has been performed by Rodney Atkins that says “If you’re going through hell, keep on going.” Matthew Mcconaughey once said something along the lines of “as long as you’re moving forward, it’s all down hill. Just a simple fact that the earth is round.”
What will it take for you to win today? Below are a few of posts that might give you the tools you need to win today.
Now go out and get what you’re worth! and don’t forget, no matter how hard life hits today, KEEP MOVING FORWARD!
Are you pointing fingers? Are you blaming shadows? What is your biggest fault that stands in your way of success?
